Traditional afternoon tea at Hanbury Manor Marriot Hotel & Country Club is definitely worth a visit.

Afternoon tea is served in the Cocktail Bar, Library and Oak Hall.

My personal favourite is Oak Hall.

Decorated in the baronial wood panelling open fires and views of rolling English Countryside.

A delicious selection of finger sandwiches:

Honey roast ham with grain mustard mayonnaise on pane con noci

Coronation chicken on white bread

Marinated cucumber with cream cheese on caraway bread

Beef and horseradish cream on multigrain bread

Open sandwiches:

Pickled carrots and hummus on Focaccia

Smoked salmon on pain brioche with cream cheese

Homemade scones with Devonshire clotted cream and strawberry jam.

A selection of pastries and cakes beautifully presented on a three-tier cake stand.

Accompanied by your choice of tea or champagne...

Who can ask for anything more?

Afternoon Tea prices:

Traditional Afternoon Tea = £40 per person

Champagne Afternoon Tea = £50 per person

The sandwiches scored 10/10 my personal favourite smoked salmon on pain brioche with cream cheese.

A good selection of loose teas, freshly baked cakes and scones.

Definitely an exceptional afternoon tea with excellent service.
