Untamed Borders

Untamed Borders is an adventure travel specialist offering bespoke journeys and small-group tours to some of the world’s most remote, challenging, and culturally rich destinations. Founded in 2008, the company focuses on creating authentic travel experiences in regions that are often overlooked by mainstream tourism, including parts of the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and the Caucasus. Rather than traditional mass-market holidays, Untamed Borders designs immersive expeditions that combine cultural discovery with adventure activities such as trekking, skiing, running events, and long-distance overland travel. Their itineraries are carefully crafted to provide access to places with limited tourism infrastructure, often working closely with local guides and communities to ensure genuine, on-the-ground insight. The company is known for its pioneering approach to travel, frequently supporting first-of-their-kind expeditions and unique experiences in difficult-to-access regions.
